This sculpture continues the artist’s dialogue with mask and totem forms, but here the structure becomes more elongated and linear, resembling both a face and a vertical body. Cylindrical pipes dominate the form, with a long central tube acting as the nose or spine, while rectangular and circular cutouts extend outward like ears, arms, or wings. The lower section multiplies into smaller pipes, evoking a mouth filled with sound, or the layered rhythms of a musical instrument.
The composition carries a ritualistic presence, as if it were a ceremonial mask or a protective emblem mounted on a wall. Its earthy, rust-brown surface makes it feel ancient, while the visible cuts, welds, and raw industrial edges keep it rooted in the modern world of scrapyards and machinery. Suspended between anthropomorphic identity and mechanical assemblage, the work seems to channel both ancestral spirits and contemporary anxieties, blurring the line between artifact and invention.
