Meenu Srivastav

Born in 1957, Meenu Srivastava is an accomplished Indian painter who earned her diploma in painting from the Rajasthan School of Art, Jaipur. Her work, known for its expressive and contemporary character, has been showcased widely across India and internationally. Her first international exhibition was "International Mail Art – Egypt 2014" at L'Atelier D'Alexandrie, Alexandria, and her most recent appearance was in a group exhibition at ICA Gallery, Jaipur in 2023. She has held solo exhibitions at prestigious venues including Jehangir Art Gallery, Ravindra Bhavan, and AIFACS Gallery, New Delhi. Meenu has also represented India in various countries, including Korea, Australia, Egypt, and Hungary, broadening the global reach of her artistic voice.

Her contributions to the field have earned her numerous accolades, such as the Lalit Kala Akademi Award (New Delhi, 2001), the State Award by Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademi (1999), and an AIFACS Award (1997). Over the years, her recognition in the art world has steadily grown—at one point being ranked among the top 1,000 artists in India and within the top 1,000,000 globally. Notably, her ranking showed a significant rise in 2019, reflecting the increasing appreciation of her work. Today, Meenu Srivastava’s paintings are held in several private and public collections, both in India and abroad, affirming her place as a respected and influential figure in contemporary Indian art.
