Dileep Sharma, born in 1974 in Mandawar, Rajasthan, is a contemporary artist celebrated for his vibrant compositions that combine bold silhouettes with intricate patterns. He earned his Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the Rajasthan School of Arts, Jaipur, in 1996, and completed his Master’s at the Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, in 1998. In 2001, he received a British Council scholarship to participate in an artist residency at Glasgow Print Studio.

Sharma’s works are distinguished by their rich use of color and the nuanced interplay of form and fine detail. He has exhibited widely, with solo and group shows across India and internationally, including London, Paris, New York, Seoul, Tokyo, Dhaka, and Vienna. His art has earned international recognition, with honors from Japan’s Kochi Triennial, the Bharat Bhavan Biennial in Bhopal, and Korea’s renowned ‘Asia Belt’ Print and Photo Art Fair.
