Ashish Shirangi

Ashish Shirangi, born in 1975 in Bundi, Rajasthan, is a contemporary Indian artist. He earned his Master of Arts in Drawing and Painting in 1995 and later completed a Ph.D. in Fine Arts in 2006.**

After years of immersive learning and practice, Ashish now serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Drawing and Painting at Government College, Bundi, where he continues to share his knowledge and passion for art with students pursuing higher education.

His artworks have been featured in several notable collections, including Juneja Art Gallery (Jaipur), Gallery Art Chill (Jaipur), Contemporary Art Gallery (Kota), Bougainvillaea Art Gallery (Udaipur), along with various private collections in India and abroad.

Ashish has held significant solo exhibitions, including “Sakshi” at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur (2001) and “Metaphysical Through the Physical” at Zimmer16 – Camera Dell ‘Arte, Flora Strasse, Berlin, Germany (2009–10).

In addition to solo shows, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions both nationally and internationally and has taken part in several art camps across India.

His artistic contributions have been recognized with a State Award from the Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademi and a scholarship from the All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society (AIFACS).
